According to an MIT Research, data centers alone could account for up to
21% of overall global energy demand by 2030. With the raise of AI,
increasingly powerful datacentres and the use of cutting-edge
technology, digital infrastructure has become one of the main power
consumers, with a huge impact on the environmental footprint. In this
session, we plan to explore innovative approaches to reduce this
environmental impact, addressing power consumption, energy efficiency,
and sustainable design in network equipment, data centres, and related
ICT systems.
